DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
Fanvy respects intellectual property rights and responds to properly submitted copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws.
If you believe content accessible through Fanvy infringes your copyright, follow the process below. Please submit clear and complete requests to avoid delays.
1. Introduction
This page describes how to submit a takedown notice and, where appropriate, a counter-notification. We review each request in good faith and take action when legally required.
2. How to File a DMCA Notice
Your DMCA notice must include all of the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location (URL or account reference)
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Incomplete notices may not be processed. We may request additional evidence to verify ownership, authorization, or content location details.
3. Counter-Notification Procedure
If your content was removed or disabled due to a DMCA notice and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification.
A valid counter-notification should include:
- Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction required under DMCA rules
- Your physical or electronic signature
After receiving a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the original claimant and restore content where allowed by law if no court action is reported in time.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
Fanvy may suspend or terminate accounts that are repeatedly associated with valid copyright infringement reports. We evaluate patterns of abuse, severity, and context when applying this policy.
